An Israel-linked hacking group unleashed cyber attacks across Iran, crippling its gas stations and petrol pumps. The Predatory Sparrow group took responsibility for disrupting 70% of the Islamic Republic’s petrol pumps. The disruption was more acute in Tehran, where petrol had to be distributed manually. This is the first such incident since 2021 and comes amid Iran’s criticism of Israel over its bombing of Gaza.
