The United States has charged an Indian national with conspiracy to assassinate a U.S. citizen in New York. Nikhil Gupta was arrested by Czech authorities in June and is awaiting an extradition to the U.S. The attorney’s office claimed that Nikhil Gupta was hired by an Indian government employee who directed the entire “Kill Pannun” plot.
