In a stunning turn of events, Saudi Arabia apparently rejected the U.S.’ proposal. According to an Iran Observer report, Riyadh has refused to join the anti-Houthi force. The report, quoting Saudi officials’ interactions with U.S. media, stated that the kingdom has no plans to join Operation Prosperity Guardian against Houthis. Saudi officials reportedly said that the kingdom is prioritising its internal security. However, there has been no official announcement by the Saudi Arabian regime yet.
