Russia and Iran Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ebrahim Raisi met in Moscow to discuss the Israel-Hamas war which has moved into a new phase in which the IDF is attacking major cities in southern Gaza. Raisi appealed to Putin for help in bringing about a “quick” solution to ending the bombardment of Gaza. This was Putin’s third meeting with a Middle Eastern leader in two days.
