The NATO chief has issued a warning for Iran amid the raging Gaza conflict. NATO’s Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has asked Iran to “rein in its proxies” in the region. Stoltenberg threatened that provocations by Iran’s “proxies” could lead to an escalation in the conflict. The NATO chief cited attacks on U.S. forces in the region in his threat to Iran. Notably, Iranian proxies have been accused of targeting U.S. troops since the war in Gaza began.
