British special forces were on the ground in Ukraine during the initial days of Russia-Ukraine war, according to the Declassified UK report citing the newly published book by Polish journalist Zbigniew Parafianowicz. The report is based on an unnamed Polish minister who was in Ukraine in March 2022. He also said that Polish special forces based in Lublin had been in Brovary, a suburb of Kiev, “on the first day” of the hostilities.
