The Israeli government commented on India’s decision to abstain from voting on a resolution which was passed by the United Nations General Assembly on October 27. The resolution, proposed by Jordan, called for an immediate humanitarian truce between Israel and Hamas, but did not mention Hamas’ October 7 attack which sparked the current spate of fighting.
