An U.S. Naval aircraft intercepted an Iranian drone hovering near the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower in the Persian Gulf. CENTCOM said that the Iranian UAV that was “operating in an unsafe and unprofessional manner during aircraft carrier flight operations in the Arabian Gulf.” It stressed that “the U.S. navy will continue to fly and sail where international law allows.” The Carrier Strike Group Eisenhower entered the Gulf waters on November 26 amid a truce in Israel-Hamas war, which has now restarted.
