Israel has accused Iran of deploying a new militia in Lebanon to help Hezbollah in its fighting against Tel Aviv. Israel said that the Imam Hossein Brigade, formed in Syria with 6,000 members has been sent by Iran to Southern Lebanon. The claims come ahead of the first televised speech since the start of the war by Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. Meanwhile, the U.S. has downplayed the risks of attacks by Hezbollah on Israel.
