Yemen’s Houthi rebels have launched long-range missiles towards Israel. This is a new operation to “avenge Israeli attacks on the Palestinian enclave.” Houthi missiles allegedly hit Israeli military facilities in the port city of Eilat. This missile attack on Israel follows a delay in the Gaza ceasefire deal. The ceasefire, which was expected to start on Thursday, has been put on hold until the terms of the hostage release deal between Hamas and Israel are finalised. New missile attacks from Yemen come amid an ongoing cargo ship hijack crisis.
