Israeli troops have struck the house of top Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Gaza. The Israeli defence forces shared a video of fighter jets bombing Haniyeh’s house. Israel claims the house was used as terrorist infrastructure and a meeting point for Hamas’ senior leaders to direct terrorist attacks against Israel. Ismail Haniyeh is the head of Hamas’ political bureau and is among the highest-ranking officials in the organisation that governs the Gaza Strip. Hamas has vowed to respond strongly to Israeli actions in Gaza.
