More satellite images have emerged of China’s unsanctioned construction activity in Bhutan, sparking new tensions between Beijing, Thimpu and New Delhi. This comes despite the ongoing border talks between Bhutan and China to formally demarcate their boundary. The images show construction of 129 buildings in one settlement and 62 buildings in a second enclave a short distance away in north Bhutan’s Jakarlung Valley, which lies 50 kms from Bhutan’s Eastern border with Arunachal Pradesh.
