An Al Jazeera Arabic presenter broke down on air while announcing the killing of family members of his colleague and network’s Gaza bureau chief Wael Al Dahdouh’s in Israeli strikes on a refugee camp yesterday. The family of the journalist was killed in the Israeli strikes in southern Gaza which is deemed to be safe as Israeli military encourages civilians in northern Gaza to move to the south. The killing of the journalist’s family comes just days after U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Qatari PM to rein in Al Jazeera’s coverage over the ongoing Israel-Palestine war. Watch.
