Israeli Defence Forces carried out a massive offensive in the northern Gaza Strip. The IDF said ground forces killed Hamas terrorists who barricaded themselves in buildings in the Gaza Strip and tried to attack Israeli troops. The IDF stated that over the past day it has carried out strikes against some 600 Hamas targets in Gaza, including weapons storage sites, hideouts, and staging grounds.
