U.S.’ Super Hornets Down Houthi Drones & Missiles In Red Sea | Why This May Be A Game-Changer

The US Navy shot down a barrage of drones and missiles launched by Yemen-based Houthi rebels in the southern Red Sea on December 26. US Central Command said in a statement that “USS Laboon destroyer and F-18 Super Hornets destroyed 12 one-way attack drones, three anti-ship ballistic missiles, and two land attack cruise missiles fired from Houthi-controlled territory over 10 hours on Tuesday.” This is the first aerial kill by the US in the region since 2017.
