Turkey has warned Israel of serious consequences if it hunts down Hamas members outside of the Palestinian territories, including in Ankara. Turkey’s intelligence official said that necessary instruction were given to mediators. This comes after the head of Israel’s Shin Bet agency vowed to dismantle Hamas even outside of Gaza. The warning comes at a time when Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has doubled down his attacks on Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, calling for him to be tried as a war criminal by world court.
