Russian President Vladimir Putin’s close ally, Mikhail Filiponenko, was assassinated in Luhansk, in eastern Ukraine. Filiponenko was killed in a car bomb blast. His son told a Luhansk-based news agency that Filiponenko’s car was blown up after an explosive detonated. Ukraine has claimed responsibility for the car bomb attack. Ukrainian intelligence termed the killing of Mikhail ‘liquidation of a war criminal’. Watch this video to know more.
