Trouble mounts for Ukraine and its president Volodymyr Zelensky amid ongoing war with Russia. Ukraine’s major ally Germany could be nearing the limit of its financial capabilities to provide defense aid to the Ukrainian army, German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel has claimed. The newspaper also suggested that Berlin would not be able to deliver Kyiv any more tanks than it has already pledged as war fatigue grips Europe amid Ukraine’s failure to dislodge Russian forces during its counteroffensive.
