NATO Nation Sides With Houthis? Spain Blocks EU Participation In U.S.-Led Anti-Houthi Mission

Spain has reportedly blocked European Union’s participation in anti-Houthi mission announced by the United States in Red Sea. A report said that Spain vetoed the EU participation in ‘Operation Prosperity Guardian’ that seeks to secure international shipments passing through Red Sea. The Houthis in Yemen have targeted several ships, claiming they were bound for Israel and vowed to repeat the attacks on any ship linked to Israel or heading to the Israeli ports over Gaza onslaught.
