An Israeli shell has reportedly landed in Lebanon amid Gaza truce extension talks. The ‘attack’ is likely to draw a response from Hezbollah, the armed group which has halted cross-border clashes with Israel since the temporary truce was first implemented. Lebanese media reported that the Israeli shell struck the outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab on Tuesday morning. Reuters quoted an Israel Army spokesperson as saying that he was not aware of such an incident.
